classic place, you know. we loved the convenience of the classic double room, as well as a flat-screen tv with satellite channels, ironing facilities and a study table etc. a honesty bar fits in the hotels' quiet atmosphere.

We would definitely recommend & would like to come again. We really enjoyed staying at Kildonan. The host is helpful. Had nice dainties at Union Eatery & Coffee, located very close to the hotel.

Location of this hotel was good for exploring edinburgh castle. We liked service and breakfast, nothing bothered me. Nothing beats being in kildonan lodge. Newington district was worth visiting.

Excellant breakfast, parking on-site so close to the hotel. Not the cheapest one but great value. Honesty bar is a very nice plus...
